ONE of Waterford’s most-loved shopping centres has been placed on the market, with a guide price of €24.5m.
City Square is perfectly located in the city centre, with pedestrian access from three points.
There are two retail floors, including a two-storey department store that Debenhams used to occupy.
The centre also has 34 retail units and kiosks and footfall averages around 110,000 a week.
It currently brings in around €1.58m a year in rental income from tenants including River Island, JD Sports, Peter Mark, GameStop, Peter Mark and Holland & Barrett.
Anchor tenant, Dunnes Stores, is not included in the sale. The sale also includes the former Debenhams department store, which comprises 7,432sqm (80,000sq ft) of prime retail space over two floors.
The facility has recently been upgraded and extended with a new food court, extra retail units and mall improvements.
It also has direct access to 450 car parking spaces.
