CARTERS Chocolate Café, Waterford, is over the moon to have won two more awards at the annual Blas na hEireann National Food Awards in Dingle.
Carters Real Lemonade won the Gold Medal in its category and Carters Classic Caramel Square came home with Bronze for its delicious rich taste.
Philip Carter said: “People love the simple pleasure of a glass of real lemonade. We are just delighted to have won these awards which we hope will help us market our delicious lemonade to a larger audience and we want to thank our local stockists who helped us starting out, including No.9 Barronstrand St, Ardkeen Quality Food Store, Burzza and Mezze.”
Known as the Irish Food Awards they are the biggest blind-tasting of produce in the country, Now in their 12th year, the Blas na hÉireann awards are the all-island food awards that recognise the very best food and drink products, and the passionate people behind them.
Carter’s Chocolate Café started out as a Stall selling hot Chocolate for Christmas in 2010 and is now a landmark in the city for its unique personality.
