Santa Paws will give pets happy Christmas

IRELAND’S largest pet retailer wants you to help it make Christmas special both for pampered pets and less fortunate animals.

Maxi Zoo is inviting you to to pop into its Waterford store throughout December and support its Shelter Wishes charity campaign.

Each store has selected its own Shelter Wishes animal charity partner, who will compile a wish list of products available in store which their beneficiaries need and want. These gifts, of varying value, can be purchased in store, donated and placed under the Shelter Wishes Christmas Tree.

Maxi Zoo Waterford’s Shelter Wishes partner is Deise Animal Sanctuary, which offers a second chance for animals in crisis. Each charity involved will collect the donated gifts from Maxi Zoo stores on Christmas Eve, ensuring that needy animals are not forgotten this Christmas.

For those pets lucky enough to have a loving home year-round, Maxi Zoo will host a special free ‘Christmas Paw-ty’ on Saturday, December 14.

Santa Paws will be in store from 12 to 4pm, and pet owners are encouraged to bring their fur babies along and take A Christmas photo with the man in red.
