Puppy love: it’s a tale of success for top dog Kobie

KOBIE the poodle is Waterford’s top dog – or top puppy, at least.

The Silverstandard Poodle was chosen as best in the county by judges for Petmania, Ireland’s largest specialist pet retailer.

The 16 week old Silverstandard Poodle – pictured with with his owner Joanne Daly, of Ballyduff Upper- came out as best in the county after two months of public voting and more than 66,000 votes.

He is a deserving winner oozing with cuteness

“We are delighted to crown Kobie as this year’s Waterford Puppy of the Year.,” said Emily Miller, Petmania’s Marketing Manager. “He is a deserving winner oozing with cuteness.”

Twelve puppy finalists competed at the grand final in Limerick.

Pumba, a Chow Chow from Kerry, was the overall winner and will now feature in national campaigns and becomes the face of Petmania for 2019/2020.
