Speaking at the launch of his campaign Cllr Kelly said: “We’re here tonight to launch my re-election campaign and its been a very fast five years since I was elected in 2014 to serve the people of the Tramore and Waterford City West constituency.
“I have been honoured to serve as your councillor for those years and I’m happy to say that I feel I’ve worked very hard and proven myself to be a committed councillor who achieves results.

“This campaign will be a difficult one and I don’t take anything for granted. Every single vote must be earned, and I intend to knock on as many doors personally as possible throughout Waterford City West and Tramore and ask people for their number 1 vote on May 24th.”
Cllr Kelly continued: “I have a close-knit team of my wife Frances and family, friends and neighbours who are committed to helping me get re-elected, and in advance I want to thank them now for all their support.
“I know a person’s vote is a precious thing and I don’t ask for it lightly. In return for their vote a promise to represent each one to the very best of my ability with enthusiasm, dedication and total commitment.
“I have a proven track record for delivering for people and a wealth of experience of how to get things done. I hope people will give me the opportunity to continue working and delivering for them for the next five years.”
