FAITHLEGG Golf Club is looking forward to substantial refurbishment next year.

Its owners, FBD Hotels & Resorts, plan to invest in the green side bunkers on the course, refurbish the locker rooms and pro shop and to complete the final phase of the machinery upgrades, including a fairway mower and machinery for aerating the greens on the course. And they will be adding more buggies to the fleet.

It will be the fifth year of a substantial investment programme by FBD Hotels & Resorts into Faithlegg Golf Club as they continue to improve the course and facilities.

coming to the end of the large investment programme

“We are now coming to the end of the large investment programme by FBD Hotels,” said Director of Golf, Karl Cullen. “Having the green side bunkers renovated is a massive undertaking and will improve the course consistency for the large number of members and guests who play Faithlegg.”

Faithlegg Golf Club has announced a new dual club partnership with The Heritage Golf Club in Co. Laois. It will allow societies to play both courses for a reduced rate. Societies that play both courses will be invited back at the end of 2020 to play for a prize of a three-night stay at La Cala Golf Resort in Spain to be won by the top society from each club.

2020 is shaping up to be a big year for Faithlegg Golf who are also looking forward to hosting the AIG Senior Cup Qualifiers for the first time. For information on membership and society packages see www.faithlegggolfclub.com
