50 jobs on the way in company expansion

ARTeSYN is expanding its operation in Waterford in a development that will create 50 new jobs.

The jobs will be in production, engineering, customer service and research & development at the expanded facility in the Six Cross Roads Business Park.

Jonathan Downey, operations director, said the expansion showed the company’s confidence in the region.

“Having our global headquarters in Waterford illustrates the confidence that companies like ours, with a global footprint, have in Ireland,” he said.

“Our expansion plans, although ambitious, are achievable through the support of the Irish manufacturing ecosystem and we are looking forward to the further development of our manufacturing operations at our Irish and European facilities.”

ARTeSYN Biosolutions manufacturers solutions for use in biopharma processing. The company currently employs 24 people in Waterford.
